2WAYS Documentation
Chapter 1

Getting started

2WAYS is a Telegram bot that lets you trade Polymarket prediction markets without leaving chat. Browse events, place market and limit orders, manage positions, deposit from any chain, and use advanced tools like copy trading, take-profit orders, and live BTC markets — all from one interface.

Languages

Supported languages: English, Chinese (ZH) and Turkish (TR). Change anytime in /settings.

First launch & onboarding

Send /start to open the bot. New users go through onboarding before any trading feature is available.

Step 1 — Choose your language

Pick English, Chinese, or Turkish. You can change this later in /settings.

Step 2 — Set up your wallet

OptionBest for
Generate a new wallet (recommended)New users who want a fresh Polymarket-ready wallet
Import an existing private keyUsers who already have an EOA they want to connect

Your wallet is stored encrypted on 2WAYS servers. The bot never asks you to share your key in chat after setup.

Gasless setup & funding

Step 3 — Gasless setup (one-time)

Before your first trade, 2WAYS runs a one-time setup via the Polymarket relayer:

  1. 1Secure your keys
  2. 2Deploy your deposit wallet (your Polymarket trading address)
  3. 3Approve pUSD (Polymarket USDC) for trading
  4. 4Approve outcome tokens for selling
  5. 5Activate your CLOB (order book) credentials

This usually takes 15–40 seconds and requires no gas from you. If a step fails, use Retry or Contact support.

Step 4 — Save your private key (generated wallets only)

If you generated a wallet, the bot shows your private key once. Copy it, store it safely, then tap Delete to remove the message from chat.

Step 5 — Fund your account

  • Your pUSD balance (cash for buying)
  • Your Polymarket deposit address (where bridged USDC lands)
  • Bridge addresses for EVM, Solana, and Bitcoin deposits

Only send supported assets — unsupported tokens may be lost permanently.

Step 6 — Optional setup wizard

  • Crypto ticker on the main menu (BTC / ETH / SOL prices)
  • Quick buy amounts — two custom USD buttons on every buy screen (default: $10 and $100)
  • Quick sell percentages — two one-tap sell buttons (default: 25% and 50%)
  • Referral code — personalize your invite link (t.me/bot?start=ref_YOURCODE)

How navigation works

Most screens edit the same message in place (panel UI). Use Back to return to the previous screen, or Back to /menu for the dashboard. Delete closes the current panel. For help at any time: /commandlist.

Chapter 3

Finding markets

There are three ways to find markets: free-text search, trending, and curated topics. You can also bookmark anything for later.

Markets by topic & bookmarks

Use /markets or the Markets button on the dashboard to browse curated topics:

TopicExamples
PoliticsElections, policy
TrumpTrump-related markets
CryptoBTC, ETH, DeFi
SportsNFL, NBA, esports
EconomyFed, inflation, jobs
WorldGlobal events
GeopoliticsConflicts, diplomacy
TechAI, companies

Bookmarks

Use /bookmarks (alias /bookmark) or the Bookmarks link. Tap the star next to an event or market title to bookmark, and the bookmark icon to remove. Your list shows saved items with quick-open links.

Chapter 4

Trading

All trades use pUSD (Polymarket USDC on Polygon). A 0.5% platform fee applies on routed volume. You earn 1 Volt per $1 traded.

Market buy & sell

Market buy

OptionUse when
25% / 50% / 100%Spend a fraction of your cash (100% uses ~98% to leave headroom for fees)
Custom USD button 1 & 2Your preset amounts from Settings (default $10 / $100)
Custom USDEnter any amount manually
Custom SharesBuy an exact number of shares

The screen shows the live best ask from the order book when available. After execution you get a recap with fill price, shares, order ID, and links to Market and Polygonscan.

Market sell

From Positions → Sell, pick 25% / 50% / 100% or custom shares. A confirmation step runs before execution using your sell slippage. Bulk exit via Positions → Close All Positions.

Slippage

Higher = more fills at worse prices. Lower = stricter price, more rejections. Configure in Settings → Trading.

Limit orders & take-profit

FieldDescription
SideLIMIT BUY or LIMIT SELL — toggle with BUY / SELL buttons

PriceLimit price in cents (e.g. 40¢). Respects market tick size (0.1¢ or 1¢)

Confirm order places the limit on Polymarket’s CLOB. Fills happen when the market crosses your price. Manage open limits with /orders — view, edit, cancel individually or Cancel All.

Take Profit (TP)

ExpirationConfigurableHours or Never

Example: bought at 10¢, target +100% → limit sell at 20¢. TP orders appear in /orders labeled as take-profit.

Order book (Book)

Shows live bids and asks, spread, and depth. Auto-refreshes every 5 seconds for 1 minute. Tip: check the book before placing limits — your price must cross the spread to fill quickly.

Chapter 5

Positions & orders

The /positions panel shows a count, total invested → current value, and overall PnL %. The /orders panel lists your open limit orders.

Orders & PnL cards

The /orders panel lists up to 10 open limit orders with side, outcome, limit price vs market price, notional value, and Edit / Cancel / Market / New order links. Cancel All removes every open limit at once.

PnL cards

Generate a shareable PNG with your trade stats (invested, return, multiplier, outcome) from Positions → PnL Card. Great for the contest and social sharing.

Chapter 6

Quick BTC markets

Access via /quickmarkets or Quick BTC on the dashboard. Live Bitcoin Up/Down markets on Polymarket — 5-minute and 15-minute windows.

Live panel & deep links

  • Real-time Up / Down prices and an order book summary
  • Buy Up / Buy Down — three configurable USD amounts (separate from global buy settings)
  • Live chart via the PolyMatcher Telegram Mini App with instant buy/sell
  • Newer market — jump to the next window before resolution

Instant deep-link trades

Buy: ?start=b_btc5m_up_10 (buy $10 Up on 5m market)
Sell: ?start=s_btc15m_down_2p5 (sell on 15m Down; p = decimal)

Max buy via deep link is $100. Trades from inside the chart use WebApp.sendData() — not regular deep links.

Chapter 7

Wallet, deposit & withdraw

The /wallet panel shows your pUSD balance, portfolio stats, Polymarket deposit address, import / export key, deposit and withdraw flows, and withdraw history.

Deposit & bridge

Use /deposit or /bridge. Cross-chain deposits auto-convert to USDC.e on Polygon (pUSD) via the Polymarket bridge.

  1. 1Select source chain (EVM chains, Solana, Bitcoin, etc.)
  2. 2View chain-specific deposit address and supported assets
  3. 3Send supported tokens — conversion is automatic
  4. 4Use the QR code for mobile wallets and Refresh to check balance

Only send assets listed as supported for that chain. Wrong tokens may be permanently lost.

Withdraw

5-step wizard from Wallet → Withdraw:

  1. 1Chain — destination network
  2. 2Asset — token to receive
  3. 3Address — your external wallet
  4. 4Amount — how much to send
  5. 5Confirm — recap with fees and ETA

View past withdrawals in Withdraw history.

Chapter 8

Copy trading & tracker

Copy trading automatically mirrors buys from wallets you follow. The tracker sends alerts only — it never auto-trades.

Copy trading

  • Add a trader by 0x address, Polymarket username, or profile URL
  • Set USDC amount per copied buy ($1 – $100,000)
  • Optional display name (1–15 characters)
  • Enable / disable per wallet without removing

Max price gap

Skip a copy if the market moved more than X cents since the original trader’s buy. Default 5¢ — prevents chasing stale signals. Up to 20 copytrades.

How it works: a background service watches followed wallets via Polymarket websocket. When they buy, 2WAYS places a market buy for your configured size (subject to your balance and slippage).

Tracker

Alerts only — does not auto-trade. Same wallet resolution as copytrading (address, username, URL). Up to 20 tracked wallets.

First trade delay: one-time wallet deploy + approvals (15–40s). Normal after that. No gas for trading.

Chapter 14

FAQ

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Getting started & deposits

Do I need a Polymarket account separately?

No. 2WAYS creates and manages a Polymarket-compatible wallet for you.

Do I need MATIC / POL for gas?

No for normal trading. The Polymarket relayer handles gasless setup and most on-chain actions.

Is my private key safe?

Keys are encrypted server-side. Export only when you need a backup — then delete the message. 2WAYS staff will never ask for your key in chat.

Why hasn’t my deposit arrived?

Cross-chain bridges take time (minutes to hours). Tap Refresh on the deposit or wallet screen, and check you sent a supported asset to the correct chain address.

Trading & troubleshooting

Why did my market order fail?

Common causes: insufficient pUSD, slippage too low, no liquidity, or wallet still setting up. Try raising buy slippage in Settings.

Why didn’t my limit order fill?

Your limit price hasn’t been crossed yet. For a buy, your price must be ≥ best ask; for a sell, ≤ best bid.

Copytrading vs Tracker?

Copytrading auto-executes buys when followed wallets buy. Tracker only sends an alert — you decide whether to trade.

The bot isn’t responding.

Send /start, check Telegram isn’t blocked, and use Refresh on the dashboard. Join the Discord community linked on the main menu.
